Introducing Minnesota Juniors Volleyball Club...
A better USA Volleyball option for your athlete.
At Minnesota Juniors Volleyball Club, we’re focused on the entire experience of competitive club volleyball, not just the results on the court. Founded on the principles of discipline, accountability and rising to the challenge, we never lose sight of the true outcome: empowering our young women with the confidence, work ethic and perspective to achieve their goals.
Meet Nicole Salmon
My name is Nicole Salmon and I am the Club Director of MN Juniors. I was an All-American at the University of Missouri and went on to coach at the collegiate level. I spent 3 years as an assistant at McNeese State University and then 5 years at Indiana State University.
After the grind of travel and coaching at the D1 level, I left and moved to Minnesota to be closer to my family. Since moving to Minnesota, I met and married my husband Ryan and we now have 2 sons, Ryker (2), and Xander, (3 months old)! I was also the head coach at Hill-Murray for 2 years, coached some club volleyball and offered private lessons. I am currently working at the Training Haus in Eagan as a Patient Services Rep and continue to offer private training/lessons in Stillwater.
I have a passion for the game of volleyball but also a passion to teach and train young women through the game.
Minnesota Juniors was started in 2020 on the east side of the Twin Cities metro area. I started this club because we felt the need for another unique option for young women, and to provide high level coaching and competitive tournaments.
We are a USAV/NCR club program that travels and plays in major national qualifiers across the country. Our goal is for each of our teams to qualify for Junior Nationals each year. In our inaugural 2020/21 season, our 18's team qualified for Junior Nationals and placed 11th out of 64 teams in Columbus Ohio! And our 17’s team competed in the national tournament in Las Vegas.
